Agent Based Gameplaying System
Trutman, Michal ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Král, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with general game playing agent systems. On the contrary with common agents, which are designed only for a specified task or a game, general game playing agents have to be able to play basically any arbitrary game described in a formal declarative language. The biggest challenge is that the game rules are not known beforehand, which makes it impossible to use some optimizations or to make a good heuristic function. The thesis consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The first part introduces the field of general game playing agents, defines the Game Description Language and covers construction of heuristic evaluation functions and their integration within the Monte Carlo tree search algorithm. In the practical part, a general method of creating a new heuristic function is presented, which is later integrated into a proper agent, which is compared then with other systems.
Artificial Life Models
Ďuričeková, Daniela ; Martinek, David (referee) ; Peringer, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes design and implementation of an artificial life simulator. The work is divided into four parts. The aim of the first part is to provide a brief overview of artificial life and related terminology. The second part deals with selected design patterns and the process of designing a simulation system, whose purpose is to simulate an ecosystem of artificial life entities. The subsequent part focuses on implementation of individual system components. Finally, the system is tested and evaluated on two sample models.
Intention Driven Agent in PROLOG
Němec, Ladislav ; Vídeňský, František (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
This lever deals with the realization of the iterpreter of an Driven Agent by the PROLOG implementation. The model was used by Jason implemented in Java that interprets the language of AgentSpeak(L). An interpreter and a program for processing agent systems in the language AgentSpeak (L) were created. This interpreter can work with multiple agents, can implement a system with an environment and use the FRAg system for interpretation. Examples of agent systems in AgentSpeak (L) were proposed to describe the functionality of the interpreter, and subsequently the advantages and disadvantages of the FRAg system were described.
Adventure Game with Intelligent Cooperating Actors
Vacek, Lukáš ; Samek, Jan (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
The goal of this master's thesis is to design and implement framework that can be used for development of agent systems. Framework is implemented in Java and encapsulates JADE library. Framework is used for implementation of adventure game. There are several characters (agents) with specific roles who cooperate and try to achieve their goals.
Simulator of BDI Agents and Surrounding Environment With Obstacles
Matějíček, Petr ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Horáček, Jan (advisor)
This term project desribes simulator of multiagent system implementation. It explains basic concepts of agent and multiagent systems. Simulator is implemented as a separated object, which allows to join various models of environment and agents acting in this environment. Evaluation of several types of agent cooperation behavior is in last section of this project.
Parallel Artificial Life Simulator
Luža, Radim ; Peringer, Petr (referee) ; Martinek, David (advisor)
This thesis describes project of parallel simulator of agent system. At the begining it explains necessary theory. Further follows description of design of particular software application. Final part contains set of test results and discussion. In the final part there is also comparison of parallel algorithms used for next simulator state computation.
For the purposes of this project, the program in AgentSpeak(L) is first converted to an internal language form. For the demonstration, one of the examples included in the Jason program, specifically "cleaning robors", was used. The interpreter can interpret the system as a FRAg and can react in the enviroment.
Agent Approach to Air Traffic Control
